Op-ed: Early childhood education is vital to rebuild our economy
11/6/2020 – Early childhood education has not had a seat at the decision-making tables to inform policies or practices that impact our sector and the communities we serve. Horizons’ CEO Kate Barrand – alongside leaders at East Boston Social Centers, Nurtury Early Education and United South End Settlements – shared a call to action for parents, policy makers, and business and community leaders to advocate for and support early education, understanding that it is the foundation of K-12, and critical for working families and the economy.
