The Horizons team expresses our gratitude to the event committee, led by Chair Sue O’Connell, for all of their tireless work bringing this event to fruition. Thank you also to our dynamic emcee Maria Sansone for leading this inspirational morning. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Genae, with her bravery and resilience, share her personal experience. Her story was seen by many as the standout moment of the morning, and we couldn’t agree more.
Lastly, thank you to Malcolm Mitchell, who was engaged from his visit to Horizons all the way through his impactful keynote and signing of books and photo ops.
See footage of his time spent with students and teachers at our early education center below!
The morning wouldn’t have been possible without our presenting sponsors: MFS Investment Management, Lauren & Joseph Mazzella, and Victoria & Don Sullivan, who we thank for their unwavering support of Horizons.

Whether this was your first or 25th Women’s Breakfast we hope you’ll stay involved throughout the year. We have volunteer and advocacy opportunities you can learn more about on our website. And please, if you have not made a gift in support of Horizons, consider doing so. Our work is not possible without you!
