05/25/2021 – Homelessness is a public health issue that is quietly affecting 40,000 children any given year in the state of Massachusetts. As featured in Chronicle, Horizons for Homeless Children is trying to do something about that through an organizational dedication to supporting homeless children and their families. This mission has just taken a giant leap forward with the opening of an all new, state-of-the-art building in Roxbury, The Edgerly Family Horizons Center. The story features Crystal Culture Beauty Bar, founded by Angelik Crystal Walters, who overcame great challenges, including homelessness, to become a successful entrepreneur.
