It’s an exciting time at Horizons as we work to create a brighter future for families in Massachusetts.  Ground has been broken on the Horizons Center, a unique public/private joint venture that will create a single and accessible home for social service agencies dedicated to transforming the education, health and well-being of at-risk children and families in Boston.  The project is a significant investment in the Roxbury community, providing valuable new services and bringing approximately 400 new jobs to the Jackson Square area.

“Expanding access to early education and tackling homelessness are two top priorities of my administration,” said Mayor Walsh. “Horizons for Homeless Children has been a great partner for decades in delivering early education and care to homeless children and their families, and I want to thank them for their commitment to improving the lives of those in need.”

Governor Baker offered his support of the Horizons Center via video.
See what he had to say about what this means to the Commonwealth.
