130th Boston Marathon

Thank you for your interest in joining our Team Horizons Boston Marathon team! Your support helps improve the lives of young children and families experiencing homelessness in Massachusetts. Applications are reviewed regularly and runners are accepted on a rolling basis. The deadline to apply is November 14, 2025.
All accepted runners will be notified by December 12 if they have been selected as a runner in the 130th B.A.A. Boston Marathon to support Horizons for Homeless Children.
Fundraising Requirement
Horizons for Homeless Children receives bib numbers for the Boston Marathon through the Bank of America Non-Profit Marathon Program. As a member of the Bank of America Non-Profit Marathon Program, there are fundraising guidelines that we must follow. All members of the 2026 Team Horizons are required to raise a minimum of $10,000. We hope all runners will strive to surpass this minimum by setting goals above the required $10,000. Please note that your projected goal, as stated below, will be taken into consideration during the selection process. All funds support Horizons for Homeless Children’s mission to provide children experiencing homelessness with opportunities to learn, play, and thrive.
Please be aware that if a runner is unable to reach the $10,000 minimum for any reason, Horizons for Homeless Children is required to charge the remaining balance on that runner’s credit card.
