corporate support matters
The generosity of our corporate donors provides essential support for our Early Education Center in Roxbury and more than 50 shelter Playspaces across Massachusetts. Through this partnership we hope to support both our mission dedicated to children and families experiencing homelessness and your corporate philanthropic objectives within the community.
We welcome the opportunity to learn more about your company’s philanthropic and engagement goals. Below are some frequently asked questions. Thank you for your interest in Horizons and our critical work with children and families.
Q: We are looking for a hands-on volunteer opportunity for our staff. Can Horizons accommodate us? A: Because we are a trauma-informed daycare and education facility our capacity for visitors is limited. We have some limited in-person volunteer opportunities such as field trips available for our Corporate Partners ($10,000 and above).
Q: We would like to learn more about your work, what’s the best next step? A: We are happy to arrange a tour or do an information session on Zoom. Please reach out to Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, Nancy Schachter: nschachter@horizonschildren.org
Q: We really want to do something to support your work, any ideas? A: Many groups large and small support Horizons through diaper, book, toy drives or wishlists for our parents. Please reach out to Assistant Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, Shelby O’Sullivan: sosullivan@horizonschildren.org and we can answer any questions and provide information on how to run a drive of your own!
