Time Off

As a new team member, you’ll start with a total of 40 paid days off in your first year (44 days if you’re a Teacher). As you learn and grow with us, you’ll enjoy the following:

  • Vacation – 17 days of PTO per year during first two years (22 days after two years, 27 days after 5 years), 5-day rollover allowance year to year. Days are pro-rated for full-time employees working a regular schedule of fewer than 40 hours per week.
  • Sick time – 5 paid sick days per year available on January 1 each year.

  • Extended Breaks – reviewed annually and subject to change based on funding and executive approval.

    • Spring Break (the week of Memorial Day, a bonus of 4 additional paid days off) for teaching staff.

    • Winter Break (the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, a bonus of 5 additional paid days off) for all staff.

  • Mental Health Day – 1 day per year where we close so that everyone can take a shared mental health day. This is typically paired with a holiday in the summer to offer the added benefit of a 4-day weekend.

Growth & Development
  • Professional Development Funding to cover the cost of a professional development (PD) opportunity from trainings to seminars as well as other coursework directly related to your current position.  Staff who earn less than $100,000 can request up to 4% of their annual salary in PD expenses and staff who earn more than $100,000 can request up to 3%. Tuition reimbursement assistance is 50%, up to $2,000 per fiscal year.
